Please note that the following admission criteria were determined by the Local Authority when the school was a community school.  From September 2020 onwards, the Academy will operate under the admission arrangements of the Priory Federation of Academies.

The current Policy is to admit children into the Reception class on a once-yearly basis: i.e. all children whose fifth birthdays fall between 1 September and 31 August, will be offered the opportunity to start school in September.

Parents can request a part time placement until the term after your child's fifth birthday or defer entry until later in the school year.

The admission limit into the Reception year of the school is 45. In the event of the number of applications exceeding the number of places available, the Local Authority will allocate according to the following criteria:

  1. The child is in the care of the local authority or has previously been in care;
  2. There is a brother or sister on roll at the school at the time of application, or who will be attending the school at the expected time of the admission;
  3. Nearest school, measured by straight line distance;
  4. Increasing order of straight line distance.

Applications for admission into other years within the school are also considered on a similar basis. In exceptional circumstances, The Local Authority may consider admitting beyond the admission limit of 45.

All applications to Lincolnshire schools should be made via the Online Admissions to Primary and Secondary Schools service.
